VMMS was proud to honor our November Mustangs of the month. Every month, the VMMS staff is able to nominate staff and students from VMMS who exemplify the true character of a Mustang.
Below are the individuals who have been chosen and what others have written about them.
7th Grade Student Julie Dansereau: Aside from the fact that Julie is an exceptional student (she earned Distinguished Honor Roll for the first marking period), she is an exceptional human. Julie is kind and considerate; she gets along well with her peers and is a friend to everyone. She is the Student Council representative for her homeroom. Julie is a confident and strong young lady who willingly participates in class and will reach out when in need. Julie is often caught committing random acts of kindness. Julie is also active in the community and in VMMS outside of her academics; she just made the Cheerleading team! Julie is truly a pleasure to have in the classroom. She is responsible, reliable, and honestly just a very pleasant person to know. Julie exemplifies what Student of the Month represents!
7th Grade Student Karalynn Dunn: She is extremely focused, kind and well behaved. She helps move every class forward.
8th Grade Student Michael Pappas: He is a Homeroom Rep and does an outstanding job by keeping our class informed. He is an outstanding student in every subject. Always completes every assignment. He prepares well for tests and quizzes. He is very helpful to students and teachers. Always ready to help. The best part is he loves school and always has a smile on his face.
VMMS Staff Member Cathy Pomanski: She is a wonderful asset to the main office and always willing to jump in wherever needed. Always has a positive attitude!!!!
VMMS Staff Member Bill Hoermann: Bill goes above and beyond in all capacities, he gives 110% in all he does – both in and out of the classroom. His positivity is contagious and spreads to both his students and athletes. No matter what situations come his way, he handles them with professionalism, kindness and authenticity – always keeping the students needs at the center of his decisions.
