This month we recognized our Teacher of the Year and Educational Services Professional of the Year.
Our Teacher of the Year is Ms. Brianne Nauerz is a highly dedicated teacher. She works with some of the most challenging students. Her patience and kindness, along with her skills and knowledge are so beneficial to each of her students. Brianne is also a wonderful colleague and definitely believes in an interdisciplinary approach. She is respectful and willing to work with all disciplines. Brianne is also a great resource for autism. Brianne does an outstanding job meeting the needs of all the students in her classroom. She always finds a way to help them succeed. Brianne is a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to share her experience in the areas of behavior management, ABA techniques, and special education. Our entire PSD program is benefiting from her knowledge, caring attitude, and willingness to do whatever it takes to improve outcomes for our special needs students.
Our Educational Services Professional of the Year Ms. Joan Fitzpatrick-Schreier is an exceptional person who brings her special spirit to her interactions with students and staff. She has an excellent knowledge of early education and developmentally appropriate activities. But more importantly she comes to school each day with a positive and reflective attitude. Joan is a very caring person. She is kind and encouraging to the students in her class. Joan is always there to lend a helping hand. Joan is always positive and kind to coworkers exuding a genuine sense of caring. Joan treats the children as her own making sure they have jackets, food, and bedding. She has an excellent knowledge of early education and developmentally appropriate activities. Joan has developed a truly collaborative relationship with the teacher she works with in their preschool classroom. Together they have created an exceptionally conducive learning environment for their young learners. Joan is a very caring and kind person who is always there to lend a helping hand. She is positive and kind to her coworkers as well as her students. Joan actively contributes to making our Herbertsville preschool community the wonderful place it is.
