Successful Back-to-School Night at Brick Memorial High School

Last night, Brick Memorial High School hosted its annual Back-to-School Night, and it was a resounding success! The event began with a special presentation for the parents and guardians of our seniors, focusing on post-high school plans, including college preparation and career pathways. Mr. Sarluca and the entire administrative team truly enjoyed the opportunity to meet the families of our students and discuss the exciting year ahead.

As usual, some of our freshmen parents needed a little help navigating our large campus, but our fantastic student volunteers were ready to assist. Members of the National Honor Society, Student Government, Key Club, and other various groups stepped up as guides, ensuring everyone found their way with ease.

One of the evening’s highlights was the annual Chili Contest, a beloved tradition carried on by Miss Tarnowski, which was enjoyed by all. A new addition this year was the Activity Hallway, set up on the bus platform. This area gave parents a chance to explore the wide variety of extracurricular activities offered at BMHS, showcasing the many ways students can get involved outside the classroom.

In a show of appreciation for our dedicated teachers, Mr. Sarluca sent out a special thank-you message after the event, complete with a fun bonus – a “jeans day” for staff on Wednesday!

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Back-to-School Night a wonderful experience. We look forward to a successful and rewarding school year ahead!
