On Saturday, September 30th, The Brick Township Environmental Commission cleaned up the Brenton Woods property as part of an agreement that they would maintain it if it were not destroyed and turned into a home development. Even in the rainy weather, The Brick Memorial Key Club, ROTC, and newest Green Team, all led by Miss Tarnowski and MSgt. Futrell, bundled up in raincoats and boots to clean up the woods. Mayor Crate also supported and participated in cleaning the trails with us. We found things from pieces of plastic and glass to rusted bikes and old furniture. It was a successful Saturday morning for Brick!
