Brick Memorial High School Students Shine at Ocean County Teen Arts Festival
The talents of Brick Memorial High School students were on full display at the recent Ocean County Teen Arts Festival, held at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College.
Students from Brick Memorial High School who participated in the Teens Arts Program showcased their creativity and artistic skills, earning praise from adjudicators and fellow participants alike. The festival, dedicated to inspiring New Jersey teen artists, educators, professional artists, and arts advocates, provided a platform for students to unite as an all-inclusive community.
The festival, held over two consecutive days in mid-March, offered high school students in Ocean County the opportunity to showcase their talents in various categories, including the visual arts, creative and poetic writing, dance, music, vocal performance, and theatre. Students received professional feedback from adjudicators to help them grow as artists and participated in free cross-disciplinary workshops on the college campus.

The festival provided a valuable educational experience for the students, allowing them to sit in on the adjudication of other emerging artists in their disciplines. Top students from each category will be nominated to participate in the New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival, to be held in June.
