Former BMHS Teacher of the Year Judith Harzer has taken her Art and Mural Club outside the walls of Brick Memorial High School, and we could not be prouder!
Judith Harzer: I am exceptionally proud this year of my Art and Mural Club . They stepped up for the Unity Event with very little knowledge of their responsibilities other than to greet Brick Township students and their families who live in the Maple Leaf Community from 2:30 – 5 pm to assist them in pumpkin painting and hand and arm painting. It was such a great experience! My students were professional, gracious, and responsible. They remained from setup to clean up and the police department expressed sincere gratitude to them.
We are so thankful for teachers such as Mrs. Harzer who know that education does not end at 1:30 or at the walls of our building! Thank you, Mrs. Harzer and the members of the Art and Mural Club!
