Yesterday the NJSIAA (New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association) and the GCAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) along with the NJAIAW (New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women) celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
Brick Memorial Volleyball, Track, and Softball member, Ella Moore was recognized for this honor.  Ella has committed to Drexel University to continue her softball career.  She is a standout, three-sport student-athlete with a 97.4 GPA.  Not only is she remarkable on the fields of play and in the classroom, but Ella is one of the kindest, most respectful young ladies walking the halls of Brick Memorial High School!  Any student or faculty member who has conversations with Ella can immediately recognize a special quality, consisting of dedication, motivation, and future success!
We are also happy to share that former Mustang athlete and current Ocean County College standout Jordan Viggiano was recognized with this honor.  In fact, Jordan was named Female Athlete of the Year by OCC.  Be sure to read more about Jordan by clicking here.  This honor comes of no surprise to Brick Memorial Athletics because Jordan was our honoree just two years ago.
Brick Memorial is incredibly proud to acknowledge the success of past and present Mustangs!  We cannot wait to see what will be the next thing to celebrate for Ella and Jordan!
